Outdoor Rabbit Housing
Rabbits can be perfectly happy living inside or in the garden as long as they have plenty of space, enrichment and a suitable diet.
This means that they need a lot more than just a hutch! The rabbit welfare association recommends, for a pair of average size rabbits that they should have a single enclosed area of at least 3m x 2m by 1m high.
In my own rabbits enclosure (@thegardenburrow), we have included raised platforms - our ikea hol which can also be used as a hideaway, tunnels and other connected areas such as our outdoor run for extra enrichment.
